Michael Fored

Michael works at the Department of Medicine - Solna, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He is a trained nephrologist but now devotes himself to clinical epidemiological research and scientific method support.

 

Michael is dedicated to research education, runs a research school for clinicians in Stockholm, and is director of research education at Karolinska Institutet. 

     

He believes in facilitating learning by enthusing the course participants

'If you don't have a clear message, the reader won't understand what you want to say.'

 

'It is not difficult, and really fun to write, when you know how and what is important.'

Writing course experience: Michael was one of the first group of accredited trainers in 2006 and has since given two courses annually. The participants are PhD students in Stockholm and Gothenburg.

 

Courses offered: Michael runs mainly three-day courses with on-site teaching on day one and day three and own writing work on day two. One-day courses are also available.

 

Clients include: Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, and Sahlgrenska Academy, Gothenburg University

 

Availability: Sweden and the Nordic countries. Courses in Swedish/Scandinavian and English.
