Mark Pickin
In 2009, after 23 years in the NHS and academia, Mark left his post as clinical senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield to become a full time trainer. He qualified with honours from Bristol Medical School in 1986, and trained in public health before being awarded a national fellowship by the MRC.
He used the principles he learned from Tim Albert to publish journal articles and now enjoys teaching those skills to others. He was in the first group to be licensed and helped Tim train the subsequent tutors.
